The project dealt with the perception of our memory of the Holocaust victims , our limited ability to remember the individual victim next to the many who were murdered. Our work illustrates how the faces of these people mix and look alike, but alongside the viewer is given the possibility to isolate the individual from the crowd and read more details about him/her.
The work is accompanied by a quote from Primo Levi:
"We are now ghosts like the living dead we saw last night."
